“I shouldn’t have to diagnose you
to help you think clearly about your life”
I'm Fanny Tristan, a licensed psychotherapist and the founder of Her Soul Supply. I'm also a mother, a daughter of Afro-Peruvian immigrants, and the eldest daughter in my own family, which means I've lived a lot of what I now help other women name.
After nearly 20 years in this field, I noticed something:
So many of the women I worked with, especially high-achieving women and eldest daughters, weren't in crisis. They were exhausted.
Carrying everyone, managing everything, quietly wondering why none of it felt like enough.
Some of that work belongs in a therapy room. A lot of it doesn't. Not everyone needs a diagnosis to benefit from a good, honest conversation.
That's why I created Her Soul Supply, a place to speak in draft. A space for the questions you're still working out, about relationships, identity, power, friendship, ambition, motherhood, and the version of your life you're actually trying to build. Not a substitute for therapy. Something else entirely.
I created this space because I've lived in it too:
the overfunctioning, the over-giving, the being everyone's person and no one's priority. I know what it costs, and I know what it looks like to put some of that down.
Her Soul Supply is where I bring that same clinical understanding into community, through salons, gatherings, and conversations that don't require you to have it figured out before you show up.
